EDITORIAL STANDARDS & CORRECTIONS

Accuracy, sourcing, commentary, updates and corrections.

OUR EDITORIAL MISSION

TWOSU NEWS is an independent trucking news and media platform. Our goal is to report clearly, distinguish fact from opinion, provide useful context and cover stories that matter to professional drivers, the transportation industry and the public.

VERIFICATION & SOURCING

We aim to verify significant factual claims before publication using available video, photographs, public records, official statements, firsthand accounts and other reliable sources.

  • We identify sources when appropriate and safe to do so.
  • We distinguish confirmed facts from allegations, estimates and developing information.
  • Anonymous or confidential sources may be used when there is a reasonable basis to protect the source.
  • Developing stories may be updated as reliable information becomes available.

NEWS, ANALYSIS & OPINION

Straight reporting, analysis and commentary may appear on the same platform, but they serve different purposes. Commentary and opinion should be presented as such, while factual claims remain subject to our accuracy standards.

CORRECTIONS & UPDATES

If we discover a significant factual error, we aim to correct it promptly. Minor spelling, grammar or formatting edits may be made without a formal correction note. Material changes may be identified as an update or correction when appropriate.

To request a correction, contact the TWOSU NEWS Desk at 208-917-3097.

FAIRNESS & RIGHT OF RESPONSE

When a story contains serious allegations about an identifiable person, company or organization, we may seek comment before publication when practical. The absence of a response does not prevent publication when the information is otherwise sufficiently supported.
